Nicaragua Tourism Institute now has an English Website to promote the Country

Great news. Nicaragua's Ministry of Tourism has reworked it's English version website and it looks spectacular. In addition to the things you'd expect like tours, places to see, history etc… you also get a section of travel specials. One section I especially like is the section on "What People are Saying About Us" which is a long list of articles about Nicaragua going back 18 months. Perception, or mis-perception really is one of the greatest challenges Nicaragua faces. You might like to read the article, "The Perception Gap" describing reality vs perception not only in Nicaragua but generally in the region if you are considering moving or investing.

Confirmation bias can shield us from some wonderful opportunities if we don’t allow ourselves to see the realities as they really are. The new INTUR website and the articles about Nicaragua describe Nicaragua in stark contrast to the perceptions held by so many. As I've often told folks, a trip here may be the best investment you've ever made in your life, opening your eyes to a realty that is rich in so many ways. Nicaragua is a true hidden gem, hidden in plain site.
