3.jpgTo kick off the year at Gran Pacific Beach and Golf Resort we had a full day with owners, residents, and friends of where we enjoyed a delicious traditional Nicaraguan lunch known as Caballo Bayo. It was a great chance for everyone to catch up after the Christmas Holidays and enjoy the beach cabana setting.

Gran Pacifica Resort CEO Michael Cobb along with Valeria Espinoza, General Manager, welcomed all who participated in this beautiful beach day.

Zeneyda Harper, a Nicaraguan woman who owns one of the beautiful homes at Gran Pacifica and resides in Nicaragua together with her American husband and their children said that it is wonderful to get together with everyone in this setting.  "It is great here because you know your neighbors and what each one does, I love to talk to each of them and to get to know them a little bit better each time."

She also said that her husband loves the food!

"He loves the Caballo Bayo and all the typical food of Nicaragua!"

Everyone said they love these BBQs because it's a chance to enjoy great food, appreciate the beauty of the surroundings and even ride a horse on the beach or just enjoy the sunset.

Nicaraguans, Americans, Canadians and Europeans all enjoyed their day together.  That is one of the great things about being part of a culturally diverse resort like Gran Pacifica.  We look forward to many events like this through out the year!  Come visit us at Gran Pacifica and we hope you will consider becoming one of our neighbors too!
