There is nothing better to eat than fresh black raspberries, and if you have berry pickers like I do, then you can enjoy them fresh and have enough left over to make a refreshing sorbet.
Living in Nicaragua, I did not know that berries were available. Now I have discovered where I can get them and boy, are we enjoying them! They are called the king of all the berries because their dark color and have the highest levels of antioxidants of all the berries.
Make your own Black Raspberry Sorbet
Â¾ cup of sugar
1 Â¼ cup of water
2 cups of Black Raspberries
Make a syrup with the water and the sugar
Add the lemon juice then cool
Press the raspberries through a sieve
And add to the syrup
Put into the freezer
Remove every Â½ hour and break apart the crystals with a fork. After about 2 hours move to refrigerator for Â½ and hour.
Then serve and enjoy!
