Tune into the Overseas Radio Network tonight when I interview Tim Rogers, founder of the Nicaragua Dispatch, the only English language newspaper in the country. Â Â Tim will tell us a little about his history in Nicaragua starting when he was a 15 year old kid coming here to do service work, through his stint with the Nica Times, and now onto owning his own business and what it means to be anexpat entrepreneur.
Tim will share some incredible insights into why Nicaragua is the second safest country in Central America and one of the safest in the region. Â His take is fascinating and mixes in some anthropological factors that make a lot of sense from my experience over the years. Â He also talks about why folks want to come here
Also on tonightÂs show, weÂll be talking with Margit Streifeneder, a German expat who lives in Managua and works for a Canadian internet company proving that the world is indeed a whole lot smaller than we think.  Margit has a daughter Noela who attends the German School. She will be featured on the Expat Kids segment with Amanda.
If possible weÂll try and get one of the Tsunami Skydivers to join us. This is a group of 200 jumpers from the US, twenty of whom landed at Gran Pacifica yesterday. If not this week, then certainly on next weeks show and we'll post some pictures as well.
