Community is Key at Gran Pacifica

Gran Pacifica Beach and Golf Resort is more than just a real estate development on Nicaragua’s Pacific Coast. It is a community. Ever since its inception, Gran Pacifica has always been dedicated to providing its residents not only a luxurious place to live in a breathtakingly beautiful environment, but a community to call home. Let’s explore some of the ways that Gran Pacifica works to make sure that community is at the center of everything it does.

Built for Community
The structure of Gran Pacifica is such that it actively promotes its residents to be social and get to know one another. For example, all of the streets have sidewalks built alongside them, to encourage people to be active, and walk through the community. Of course, residents can still drive to wherever they want to go, but with the slower pace of life at Gran Pacifica, why not take a few extra minutes and enjoy a stroll through the picturesque neighborhoods, and get to know your neighbors a bit better?

The homes at Gran Pacifica are built to foster community. Although those who seek to design their own homes or to work with an independent contractor are free to do so, there are certain restrictions and requirements that all homes at Gran Pacifica must meet. One of these is that all houses must have a porch facing the street. In addition, the houses cannot be built more than 25 feet away from the sidewalk. Put these two things together, and what you’ve got are residents walking through neighborhoods, saying, “Hi,” to each other and making new friendships. Community isn’t something that happens by itself, and at Gran Pacifica all of the necessary steps are being taken to foster this sense of community among residents.

We Have Fun
Gran Pacifica also encourages community by getting residents together for common activities. Of course, going golfing on the Pacifica Golf Course or getting a bite to eat at the beachfront restaurant are great ways for residents to mingle and get to know one another, but there is much more going on to bring people together as well.

Gran Pacifica frequently hosts major events and celebrations. This past Independence Day, September 15th, Gran Pacifica hosted a live band and had a bonfire, as well as many activities for kids, such as face painting, hermit crab races and a piñata.  Gran Pacifica also hosted Miss Mundo Boot Camp, a survivor-like competition for contestants of Miss Mundo Nicaragua.

Beautiful homes with all of the amenities one could ask for, being situated on the side of the beautiful Nicaraguan beach, and a slower, more relaxed pace of life are all great reasons to come stay at Gran Pacifica. However, none of these things will be nearly as enjoyable if you don’t have others to enjoy them with. This is where Gran Pacifica prides itself most. That whenever you come stay, you will not only have all of these wonderful things listed above, but neighbors and fellow community members to enjoy them with.
